Stephen Wertzbaugher writes supernatural and psychological horror that explores deeper spiritual conflicts and the possibility of grace. A devoted Christian, he weaves his faith into his fiction, exploring what evil is, where redemption can be found, and how light still speaks, even in the darkest story.
He’s the author of Quixote and Strangled, part of the Twisted Tales of Familiar Faces collection from M4L Publishing, and Love is a Many Splendored Thing and Tremors, included in the Darkest of Dreams Volume 1 Cryptid horror anthology.
Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Stephen currently lives in Denver, Colorado, with his wife, their three children and two grandchildren. And despite everything he knows, he still checks under the bed before turning out the lights.
