HWA Colorado Presents Stalking the Night: Paranormal Truth & Fiction
HWA CO will host a free, virtual panel, Stalking the Night: Paranormal Truth & Fiction, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 7 to 8:30 pm Mountain time via Zoom. This event centers on whipping the mask of paranormal investigations in discussion with real-life investigators.
Horror author and paranormal investigator Catlyn Ladd along with fellow paranormal investigators will discuss what it’s like to partake in paranormal investigations, pet peeves on film and TV portrayals of ghost or cryptid hunting, and take questions from attendees.
Panelists include:
- Connor Biddle is a fervent supernatural enthusiast, author, and the driving force behind the paranormal YouTube series, Paranormal Encounters. Connor, alongside his partner India, has journeyed across the United States, documenting firsthand experiences at locations famed for their haunting tales. Beyond his on-camera explorations, Connor delves into the world of film and literature, penning both accounts of his personal brushes with the unknown and crafting chilling fictional horror stories.
- Britany Felix is a podcast consultant and YouTuber who loves all things supernatural, both the TV show and the real-life things that can’t be explained. In her free time, she travels the world, explores supposedly haunted locations with fellow paranormal investigators, and snuggles with her husband and rescue pup while binge-watching one of her many comfort shows for the hundredth time.
- India Hopwood is the co-host of the YouTube channel Paranormal Encounters. Her passion for ghost hunting began as a little girl in England when she would often hear her mum tell her account of seeing an apparition when she was a child. India met Connor Biddle in 2019, and the pair revamped the now three-time award-winning series Paranormal Encounters. The series has amassed over 3,200,000 views on YouTube as well as many millions more watch minutes on Amazon Prime. When she’s not investigating ghosts, she enjoys being a mum to her dogs Benji and Dexter, cross-stitching, and trying to befriend her neighborhood raccoons.
- Catlyn Ladd is a college professor, horror writer, and amateur ghost hunter living in Colorado. Drawn to things creepy and unknown, she has been involved in paranormal investigation for almost ten years and is featured in a half dozen books by the author Richard Estep. When not ghost hunting, she can be found writing, cooking vegan food, or riding her motorcycle in the mountains.
- Erin Taylor has been a paranormal investigator for the past decade. A Colorado native, she has been in love with the spooky side all her life. Erin is a published author of three books (most recently on urban legends of Colorado), and has been published in Haunted Magazine, The Morbid Curious, and American Paranormal Magazine. When she’s not seeking ghosts, she’s at home with her family and fur babies doing absolutely nothing (and loving it).
This online event is free and will take place via Zoom. You can join on event day and time, 11/1/2023 at 7 pm Mountain, HERE.
